Between 7am and 8pm on primary day, our volunteers answered 2,318 calls. Most were simple. A few changed whether someone voted at all.
Our annual report shows record volunteer hours, three new state laws and a budget where 84 cents of every dollar went directly to programmes.
Eighteen parents, six evenings and one 212-page budget document. By the end, they had found $1.4 million that could be moved to classrooms.
